The bankruptcy Chapter 7 is already completed. Since this stays on my credit report for 10 years, if I re-marry how will this affect my husbands credit? Does he inherrit mine even though I filed prior to re-marriage?

If you try to buy things together, your bad credit will affect the purchase.

Basically, your "stinky" credit will make his good credit "kinna stink".

However, some creditors like people who have declared bankruptcy since you can't declare again for many years to come. Your interest rate will probably be higher than others.

A friend of mine declared bankruptcy a year ago, she's pre-approved to buy a house and she just bought a new car.
