Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex filed a custody suit against me back in october, she is in san antonio and i am in houston, we discussed and put in paper back in April in mediation child support and a few weeks of supervised visitation stair stepping to unsupervised and now for the last month and a half I have been getting my daughter(who is 20 months old) every other Saturday and Sunday for 6 hours each day but she REFUSES to let me bring her home with me to stay the night, something we said we would discuss at a courtdate in July. I have had no representation and now I feel she is going back on her word of going back to court this month and I have no idea what step to take to get into the courtroom and get my daughter every other weekend as i should rightfully be able to.

Based on what you have written, it appears that your daughter's other parent is not wanting to allow you the ability to advance with your visitation. There are a few questions which would require answers prior to attempting to assist you. First, where is the suit pending (e.g., San Antonio or Houston)? Second, what are the items you put in paper at the April mediation? Third, in your opinion, why is your daughter's other parent not allowing you to have visitation? Fourth, do you have anything in your history (e.g., criminal charges, arrests, convictions, etc.) which would maybe justify your daughter's other parent acting this way?

You should really seek the assistance of a law firm to ensure that your rights and interests are protected.
