After I have filed my own divorce papers and waited 2+ months what do I need to do in order to finalize the divorce

If the other party is in agreement with you (custody, child support, property division), draft a final decree, get him to sign off on it, and do a "prove-up" at the courthouse.
If the other party is NOT in agreement, you need to contact the Court Administrator of the court in which your case is pending.
