Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I filed for divorce in TX on August 3rd. At that time my husband was in agreement. Now he is telling that he will never sign it. We have a minor who will be 18 on January 10. I want to leave the house but he tells me that if I do it he will acuse me of abandonment. Is he right. Life is unberable at home. What should I do?

Don't' worry about accusations that he might make. The court will decide fault (if at all) on entirety of the circumstances. In almost every divorce, someone leaves the house.

If you have a lawyer, listen to him or her. If you don't get one. By moving our, you might be doing other things to prejudice your case, especially if you want to keep the house or stay in it.

You need a good family law attorney to guide you through this. I hope that you have one.
