i have been married for about 12years was illegal for10 years now i have my residency. for maybe the past5 years our relationship has not been in good shape where i live salary wise is to low so i decided to travel and work out in another city. every week work i always provided my family with income. since we did not have very good communication, her money is her money and my money is her money how she words it. i am tired of it never was i ever treated like a wife should treat a husband. couple of times she thru my clothes out in a black bag. you can only tolerate so much. so as i worked out in another city i met someone. this is the person that i think should have cross my life before but does not happen that way. she has a feeling this has happened and now she says i do not give her money that i have abandoned her. i told her lets work things out gave her a couple of months, but she is the same person will not change and i can not live like this. no communication and with children this is a bad living environment for them.she filed for divorce, i went with her to the attorney i signed and now she refused to sign.she has been fed infomation to file child suppport and get me in every way that she can.she has done it.please advise

I agree with everything Mr. Grissom had to say, and want to add that I have some concern about your immigration status.

Has your conditional permanent residence been waived? If not, you need to slow down on the divorce. You also need a divorce lawyer with immigration knowledge.

Good luck.

My advice would be to get your own attorney and work out this divorce to save what you can. You are already wa-a-ay behind. Any money you yhink you might have saved on an attorney, you are going to pay through the nose for now. Good Luck.
