Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

does she have the right

I have filed for divorce. I have my 3yr old son. My daughter has been with her stepgrandma for 6mnths in another state while I got stable after my husband left me with no money. A hapeous corpus has been filed because she won't let me take my daughter back. She has now filed for guardianship in california. I am a resident of Texas what can I do. What right does she have?

Sounds like you're going to have to take your habeas corpus to CA to prevent her from obtaining guardianship. Sorry for the hassle this causes you. Good Luck.
