Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I filed a pauper oath in the courts, well they assigned me a court date on Jan 18th, 2011. I could not attend court at that time, I sent a certified letter explaining why, and also sent supported documents to explain why I could not afford to pay for my court fees, I called to the court house today, and found out my paupers was denied and that the hearing is set for 2/18/2011. The clerk over the phone stated I would have to pay the fees before my case is heard, is this correct, eventhough I don't have the monies to pay, she stated they will not even hear my court case until the fees are paid. What are my options?

You're going to have to come up with the filing fee. The court isn't obligated to accept your pauper's affidavit; apparently it was ruled that you're able to pay.
