Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Filing charges

Recently I filed charges against my ex for assaulting me - unfortunately he was found not guilty due to inconsistencies in my testimony and my statement. Can he sue me for lawyers expenses or anything else?

He'd have to be able to prove that you lied to even try and that is not very likely because you could counter sue on your original issue, and it would be easier for you to prove your case in civil court. Remember how OJ was acquitted of the crime but found guilty of the civil charges and had to move to FL to try to avoid paying?
