After filling for a divorce & a couple still has sex does that affect anything?

Hypothetically, "No," so long as it is consensual sex.

However, at the end of the case, when the Decree is proved-up, the parties will have to swear to the court and answer the following question:

"Is there any possibility of reconciliation?"

- - and in this case, the truthful answer, in my opinion, would be, "Yes."

- - unless it truly is casual sex, and then, the answer would be, "No."

But both parties will have to swear to this question - so make sure you are both on the same page before engaging in this behavior.

Also, if the answer is "Yes," then, the court will NOT grant the divorce.
