Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can I have the final divorce decree changed without another court battle?

My ex-wife and I divorce was final on Dec 8, 1999, at which time she would not allow me custody of the children, ages 9 & 10 at the time, she also requested $500.monthly child support, which was not contested and was awarded to her. In May of this year she ask me did I still want custody of the children, which of course I agreed to. The children then moved with me and she also was going to give me at least half the child support that she is still getting, so far I have only received $130. since May. How can I kept ths money from being taken out of my check every payday? Is there any forms that can be signed by her to help?

The money is being taken out of your check in compliance with a court order. The only way to change that is to go back to court and get the custody changed in the order and require your ex-wife to pay you child support or at least terminate the withholding order. Forms used by attorneys for these things are the result of great time and expense. If you don't know how to do this, contact an attorney.
