how can i fire my attourney. he keeps dragging the case on and cant give me a set amount to pay

Write him a letter and tell him he's fired. Ask when you can come pick up your file.

Do this IN WRITING. Don't use a phone. Don't send an email. PAPER. Keep a copy.

And while you're waiting to hear back from him, start talking to other lawyers.
