Flight with daughter
What are my opotions? Ex has moved to the west coast with our daughter to live. We have joint custody and divorce papers state she must live in an adjacent county till our daughter is 18. Our daughter turns 15 this October. Is there anything I can do that will make her return?

Yes - you have options. Your alternatives are difficult to achieve on your own, without an attorney. You can immediately file a petition for contempt with the Texas court that has jurisdiction, and the court will require that he return with the child to answer the charges against him. Eventually, depending upon the testimony and evidence, if the 14 year old wants to live with him, he may get custody.
