Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

forcing mother to move out, loss of child rights

The father travels for his job, cares little for his son, and when he is home he does his best to keep the child away past his bed time(8:00pm or later), he is not 4 years old yet. We have already gone through a preliminary hearing, which is not what we are wanting for finale resolve. The more expensive attorneys, which we have talked to, have said the husband is not interested in the child, but winning the game. How do we play this way when all we want is what is important for the child.

Am not sure that I understand who "we" is. Also am guessing that you have had a temporary orders hearing, and are dissatisfied with the outcome. Many times in a divorce/custody proceeding, one or both parties are interested only in winning. The mother's attorney and the mother cannot control her estranged husband's motives. and if that is your goal, then it is a waste of time and money. The mother needs to retain an attorney immediately, to define her goals, and determine a course of action best designed to accomplish those goals.
