Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I found out that one of my sons that was conceived when i was married to my ex wife is not mine. I dont want to pay for him if hes not mine but still want to see him. If my parental rights are terminated his step father will adopt him. Once he has two parents again legally can they stop me from seeing him?

The situation you describe is why the courts and the law resisted so long on this issue. A DNA testing now, with an IMMEDIATE filing will stop the child support obligation and open the door for his biological father to be involved. Any rights you had would also be terminated. Alternatively, if you miss the deadlines, and instead proceed to termination and adoption, your rights are terminated (make sure it includes obligations to support). You would have no further legal rights to the child, including the right to see him.
