Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Free Texas Family Law Samples

I can't afford and attorney, but am a smart chick who has represented myself in court before. Unfortunately, I usually 1) get the code/read the law 2) read the rules of court and 3) get samples from other cases to base my wording, format, etc. I cannot find what I am looking for - a request to the court to find child support arrears and interest in $x,xxx.xx against the obligor.

Why don't you go to the Child Support Division of the Attorney General?

I know that Pat Bushman does a lot of family law and contempt cases. She offers payment plans. Why not call her and see what she would charge.

If the case is a contempt case, then she can ask the judge to order him to pay all or some of your legal fees.

Tell her that FRAN sent you to her!
