Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My freind hired an attorney for her divorce her attorney did not notify her of the court date and says he was not notified and her x an his attorney to do this not the original judge she got nothing and he got everything can this be changed?

Yes, it it's been less than 30 days since the final hearing. You file a motion for new trial.
