My best friend and his ex wife are going to because he wants to fight for custody of his son. Can she supene me to court to stand for her?

The short answer is yes you can be supboenad to appear in court. If you receive the paperwork then you need to show up. Otherwise you can be held in contempt of court by the judge and possibly jailed.
