You didn't post enough facts to get a good answer.

Here are some questions for you to answer and will allow an attorney to give you a better answer:

1. Why are you asking for supervised visitation? Family violence, drug usage, mental illness, age of the child, etc.

2. Can you pass a drug test? Can the child's dad pass a drug test?

3. "Full custody" is not a term that has any legal definition in Texas. It means different things to different people. When you say you want "full custody", exactly what is it that you want?

State law instructs that the least restrictions possible be placed on a parent subject to protecting the child's best interest. Therefore, getting supervised visitation imposed on a parent requires a finding by the court that there is no other safe way for that parent to visit with the child. This is clearly the case with drug abusers, child molesters, etc. If those kinds of facts are present in your case, you have a good chance. Otherwise, it might be a hard thing to obtain.

But please provide some more information so we can be more helpful.
