Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

i have full and legal custody of our kids. my 17 year old daughte decided to go live with her father. does he still have to pay the full child support? my other child lives with me. he does not have legal custody of our daughter, there was no sign legal custody from the courts. he is threatning me to call the atornery general and demand that he pays only half the child support. Can he do this?

Let him call the Attorney General, or anybody else he wants to call. It takes them at least three months to do ANYTHING.

Until the court order is changed (by a judge), Dad has to continue to pay the same amount, and it will be garnished out of his check (if garnishment is in place).

Sometimes when one parent has one child and one parent has the other child, a judge will order that NEITHER party pay child support to the other one ... AFTER Dad files his motion for modification.
