Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Geographical Boundaries

Husband who initially sued for divorce and put wife under geographical boundaries so he could see the kids has accepted a new job out of State. Can the court force the ex wife to remain where she has no family support even tho he himself is no longer living in that State, or can it force her to move with him as he would like?

Re: Geographical Boundaries

Reread your divorce decree. It is standard language to read that if the non-custodial parent moves more than 100 miles from the original restriction, that the restriction is lifted.
