Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Geographical Restriction

In Texas, wife re-located children 300 miles from husband after husband filed for divorce. Is a court hearing required to ask the court to issue an order preventing wife from moving futher away until final divorce hearing? Can husband file something himself to prevent wife from relocating again?

Re: Geographical Restriction

A temporary hearing is required to ask for orders that are binding on the parties while the divorce suit is pending. A request to require the mother to move the children back or prevent her from moving again is something the court can do at a temporary hearing.

I suggest you retain a lawyer to assist with the task.
