geographical restrictions

currant decree states as long as i live in harris county or contiguous county ex-wife also must remain. problem is i have a job offer out of restricted areas with same company same pay, just out of contiguous county. what are my chances of having decree modified to say plain texas instead of harris and contiguous counties? i am afraid she will move to tenn. if i move without modifications. i have always seen daughter every designated weekend and will continue.

It is a reasonable request, and if supported by reasonable evidence, you could be successful. There are several good attorneys on this site in the Harris County area. Contact one to discuss your proposition in detail.
