Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Girl hides pregnancy from boy
My son is living with a girl. She claimed to be only gaining weight, but he just found out that she is 7 months pregnant. She claims that she was using the pill. They are not ready to be parents. She refuses to put the child up for adoption. What are his rights?

He has the right to be responsible to his child and provide support for the medical bills of the mother and pay child support for his child.

If there is a chance he is not the father of the child, he should ask for DNA testing.
It's only a saliva swab - no pain, no bloood for the baby.
He's got 2 months to get ready to be a father.
If you think she "trapped" him, it does not make any difference.
It takes 2 to create a child. If he's old enough to have sex, he's old enough to pay child support and carry health insurance on the child.
If the mother goes on medicare, expect the Office of the Texas Attorney General to go after your son.
Medicare is paid for by taxpayers and it is the policy of the State of Texas for both parents to support their children to the best of their ability.
