Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Hi I have a girlfriend who has recently broke up with a boyfriend of 6 years they have a joint credit card as well as she cosigned for him a credit card. How does she get off these cards. There break up is bad and they have no communication? They are not married and the credit card companys are telling her he will have to take her off?

The made a legal contract with a credit card company.

She needs to deal with the credit card company.

She has a serious problem.

She can try to cancel the card totally.

She do everything in writing - at least confirm all telephone communication in writing.

She might need to hire an attorney. I don't practice in that area of the law.
