Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

An ex girlfriend u have been with for about 2 years and a half broke up. We were living together no kids, never got married. She got into my apartment and started smashing on my walls including she got physical with me, destroyed my apt, and injured me with a hammered she threw at me and threatened to damage my vehicle. Whag are the legal I may take against her? I did calm the police

From the facts you've presented, the police should refer the case to the District Attorney for criminal prosecution.

You could also sue her civilly for damages to your place, but judgments in Texas are very difficult to collect. You'd probably win the lawsuit, but that wouldn't be likely to put any money in your pocket.

I'd follow up with the police and encourage them to refer the case to the DA.
