Giving up parental rights

My ex gave up parental rights. We did step parent addoption.

My ex is now trying to contact the child. Can he do this?? What can i get to keep him away from the child?

He has a past history of violance

Get an injunction to keep him 500' away from the child or wherever the child may be.
