Giving up Paternity
once a parent gives up his paternity of the child can the mom ask foe a name change of the child to her now married name? What re the chances that the judge will order?

If a father's rights are terminated, then the mother is the only parent and can do what she wants. Just for the record, the Courts rarely let you "give up your rights" unless there is someone waiting to adopt your child and take over your responsibilities and give your child his name.
