Giving up rights to a child?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and the father does not want anything to with the baby. So I told my parents and they said that if he could give up all rights to the baby, they would help me with anything. Can I request for the dad to give up all rights and also not have to pay child support?

Judge's do not let guys off the hook for child support so easily. Now if your parents wanted to sign a court order that they would be responsible for paying child support till the child turns 18, the judge might listen to that one. Good Luck.
