Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Good Lord is there any common sense left in the world

In the state of Texas, my parents who I built a house behind had delusions of having my 14 year old daughter come and live with them. I grounded her for going parking with a 17 year old. The grand parents thinking I was harsh and might spank the little rascle filed for a protective order by bearing false witness to the judge. They got it and the 14 year old proved too much for them to handle. She ran around free for about 2 months because her mother is irresponsible and had custody of her. This was all fine with the child until her mother beat her up twice and the mothers boyfriend beat up his daughter (my daughters friend) at the same time. The kids found their drug stash (not just Pot) and got a butt kicking. Now the daughter sees why there are rules and what happens when you go around ruthless people. She was never told the truth about what a protective order really was and never testified against me. She was told I said mean things about her that she now knows I did'nt say. She wants to live with me again and I want her too. She has been through alot as have I and we both have grown. Can and how does she get the protective order removed?

Sincerely,

Baffled and Bewildered.

Retain an attorney to petition the court to dissolve the protective order. All parties will need to be noticed.

You may need to modify the decree as well, as to conservatorship.
