Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Grandchildren

My daughter and son-n-law have not let me see my grandchildren in over 5 months. I have tried writing, calling & all to no avail. They do not have any valid reasons for excluding me from the lives of my grandchildren with the exception my daughter is convinced I turned her into CPS regarding her drug use (which I did) but by the advise of the caseworker he told me to deny it to high heaven.

I am only drawing unemployment at present while attempting to find full time employment so hiring a lawyer is out of the question. Must I obtain a lawyers' service in order to get something done to turn their hand & make them have to permit me to see my grandchildren or is this something I can petition the court myself and do?

Thank you

Re: Grandchildren

Unfortunately, unless something develops regarding the CPS case there is really nothing you can do to legally force them to allow you to see your grandchild.

I would work on mending the bridges between you and your daughter.
