Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my grandmother died in dec09, and she left a husband that she named the executor of her will, along with my mother. He feels that since his name is listed first, that he as total control over the entire will. When my grandmother married this man, all he had were the clothes on his back. He has also told lies to my grandmothers lawyer concerning what he purchased before and during the marriage, which was nothing. In the will, he was left some acres of land, with no provisions concerning her house. What needs to be done to execute actions stated in the will, and also protect my grandmother heirs from this ruthless and greedy man?

If you believe that your grandmother's lawyer is not protecting the estate, then you need to hire a lawyer to contest it.
