Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Grandparents wronged- 2nd part

Thank you Theresa, however, I have had different advice from a couple other places. They said that since the other grandparents testified and vowed to let us see her, and since the court ordered ad litem atty found it would be in the childs best interest to see us, her other grandparents, that the judge would want to know this, and would be concerned for the best interest. My question is this...can a family court judge, amend an adoption order for visitation for us, if there is cause to believe that they other grandparents were not truthful, when they said they would allow access, in the court record? If it had not been important, the ad litem atty who represented our granddaughter, would not have asked those questions. Can the judge order visitation in this case, since it is a best interest of the child issue?

This is one of those cases that is truly full of pain and heartache. As for the ad litem, part of his or her job was to ask questions.

It's really hard to get enough details through emails to give you an accurate assessment of your options. It you want to call my office for an appointment, I offer a free initial consultation.
