Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my grandson had to go to court because of truency at school his father has temp. custody of him . His live-in girlfriend who is still married to someone else(by the way he is still married to my daughter) took my grandson to court and presented herself as his legal guardian. I was granted an intervention is the divorce proceedings. They live together as husband and wife and have purchaced vehicles and rented a house together and have a joint bank account. She is not mentioned at all in the pending divorce and custody agreement. He is basically making us go through her for everything, information and access to my grandchildren. I feel like I should not have to deal with her at all. They keep telling me that the morals clause doesn't apply here. Does it

Your daughter needs an attorney if she does not have one.

Since you interved in the divorce, I assume that you also have an attorney. So you need to talk to your attorney. If you don't have an attorney, you need one!

This free website is not an appropriate place for any attorney to try to answer the complex questions that you are asking.

Look on this website for an attorney or try www.avvo.com for an attorney. Both sites offer people the opportunity to ask attorneys questions. You can review their answers and pick an attorney that you like.

I you want to email me directly ([email protected]) I can suggest some attorneys that don't charge a lot of money and that I feel are competent. A decent attorney does not have to cost thousands of dollars.

Good luck!
