guardianship
my daughter has gotten her self in some legal trouble and may be headed to jail time. she has ask me to be guardian to her daughter (my granddaughter) i need to know what i need to do to do. i don't have the money to hire a attorney

Someone needs to have the money to hire a lawyer, even on a payment plan, which many lawyers will do. Depending upon the status of the dad, you need to have conservatorship of your granddaughter, before your daughter goes to jail.
