Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Guardianship
My husband and I have legal gaurdianship our of 30 year old mentally ill son, we have had this gaurdianship for over seven years. We have always had difficulty with his pychologist who does not feel that he has to share information with us or even talk to us about our son's condition. Recently without consulting us he applied to the courts to have guardianship removed claiming my son is able to look after himself and is not ill merely excentric. My son is diagnosed with schizoid affective disorder and thought process disorder as well as personality disorders by some of the best doctors in Texas. Can he do this without consulting with us first.

Re: Guardianship
You need the assistance of an attorney who knows guardianships. This doesn't sound like something you should attempt to defend on your own.
