Guardianship of a Minor

Father of a 14 year old girl has asked me to take over guardianship of his daughter, as he can not provide for her. He has agreed to giving me legal guardianship. What is the process of an uncontested guardianship?

What makes you think this will be uncontested? If the child has a mother, she will have a say in this. You need an attorney. Find a good family law attorney in your area t help you. Good luck.
