Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

guardianship

My sister and husband are not able to care for their children and have asked me to do it. I will have them for abotu 2 years. I need to know what I need to do to able ti get them medical attention and get them in an out of school. I need to know what legal steps I need to take for this. ALso is there a difference in legal guardianship and temporary custody?

Yes there is a difference.

You are doing a kind thing, but it could backfire. To make sure that the children face at least the two years of stability with you, you really should contact an attorney in your county, or nearby, to make the proper arrangements.
