need to know

I know this guy ever since i was high school. Years later he joined the navy and we kept in touch off and no Ten years ago I had a son and he knew I was pregant and that it wasn't his. He took upon himself to adopt my son as his own and sign the birth cerf. After eigth years later he decides to stop supporting him. I wanted to know if i could file for child support even if he adopted my son knowing he wasn't his?

If he legally adopted the child, then he is the father of this child. Then, yes, he is obligated to support his child.
