Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I know a guy who is currently in prison for having a sexual encounter with a female. She had come to him provoking him to have sexual conduct (they didn't have actual sex but there was sexual contact)with her. He then found out that she was a minor and her parents pressed charges against him. When he gets out of prison, he has to register as a sex offender. I have two questions. 1) Is there anything he can do so that he won't have to register? And 2) if an adult woman that has a child gets into a relationship or lives with him, would the child's biological father be able to get the child taken away from the woman because of him being a registered sex offender?

There are very limited circumstances in which an offender can be taken off the requirement to register as a sex offender (and generally it has to do with having a small age difference.)
He will likely not be allowed to live with anyone who has children when he is released on parole. It would violate his parole.
And yes, the father could get the child if the mother chooses to reside with a sex offender.
