Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Hello, my ex has had a habit lately of taking all 3 of my kids for his visitation only to bring them back 2 hours later. He's also tried to keep my daughter but bring back my 2 boys for the weekend but my daughter throws a fit (shs's special needs) and without her brothers there won't stay. The kids are getting real sick and tired of this mental warfare with their father. If I ask my ex nicely to either not take the kids for the weekend because of these head games or keep them for his entire visit, he just laughs and doesn't do either. My kids are 16, 13 and 13. Are there any suggestions as to how to handle this volatile behavior? Thanks.

You should file a modification action and ask the Court to amend his visitation schedule. Depending upon the Court your case is located in, the judge might very well see you ex's behavior as not in the best interest of the children. While visitation is a right of your ex's as contrasted with a duty, what he has been doing does seem to be game playing rather than spending meaningful time with the children.
