Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
What can happen?
Since medical insurance was cheaper through my employer rather than through the NCP employer, it is stated in our court order that I am to provide for medical insurance and he is to reimburse me along with child support. about a year ago i changed jobs and my insurance premium to include our daughter tripled. to make a long story short I agreed that the NCP's wife add my daughter as a stepchild to her medical insurance(where their daughter is covered) and that I would reimburse NCP for his monthly payment to cover the medical insurance I am supposed to provide. He did his part and gave me all insurance info and card as soon as my daughter was covered, but I only reimbursed him one month ($100). I have not paid him since. So, technically, he's been paying an extra $100 a month to me in childsupport. He has brought the issue up, but I play it off. He has asked for modification twice to reflect the actual situtation and they haven't done it. He told me that when we do go back to court in a couple of years he is going to ask to be reimbursed for the medical insurance support and has even threatened to file contempt of court on me for not providing it. Can he really ask to be reimbursed or reduce future payments by that amount?

Re: What can happen?
What he says can happen. Why not just give him the refund and keep a record?
