Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Heart Broken in AZ-Want our Baby Back

My underaged daughter victim of crime had baby. She applied for TANF, and was forced to give fathers info. The father had previously paid abortion,My daughter and I agreed that I would adopt the baby. After child's birth contact with the fathers family made.Father refused to acknowledge child. I was primary care taker. Others in family had few contact. We were served 8/03 OAG case for support, hearing reset.New case opened for me, but OAG filed amended petition filed on old case number.Paternity testing ordered and another hearing set for 3/30,(Not signed by judge). Before results came back, I had to move (employment). I called OAG and gave them contact info, several times never heard from them. Daughter had no knowledge of hearings after first reset.Thought case had been reset again, but father came with a Hab. Corp.to enforce default order(daughter found default, but no answer or appearance) signed 5/13. All 3 joint managing, but him to determine where child resides. They claim best interest of child? Father out on bail for drug related offense at default hearing, minimal phone contact with baby.Has struck the 18mo for pushing buttons on phone, and constant drinking around baby. Too late for new trial,Restricted appeal? HELP!!!!

Sorry, I just got to your message. First, I am assuming that the court proceedings you mentioned all took place in Texas. If not, then you need an Arizona attorney. Second, you really need to consult with an attorney to discuss your options. There is to much going on in your case for me to give you any advice in this forum. Hope things turn out ok for you. I can be reached at (210) 200-8411.
