Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Hello,

I got divorced a year ago and we have joint custody with my ex wife primary custody. we both had to stay in the county we lived in. She asked if she could move out of state to start a new life. i signed a paper from her attorney saying she could move out of the county and all the visitations would remain the same. i have paid my child support on time. She moved up to colorado, gave me a po box to send the child support which now im going threw the state. I have no idea where my daughter is or how to get in touch with her. i cant afford an attorney but would like to know my legal rights.

thank you

Your divorce decree should require your wife to provide you with a residence address so you can visit your child. It is also against the law in Texas to hide a child from a parent or to interfere with court ordered visitation. . To enforce this provision you will need a lawyer. Do not stop making child support payments.
