Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Hello,I want to leave my boyfriend(were not married) we have a 5 month old baby and he's never changed his diapers, clothes, bathed him,put him to sleep, or fix his bottles and he won't hold him or play more then ten minutes and he gets very aggitated and mad when he crys, so maybe yu see my point I want our son to know and love his father but untill he's A LOT older I don't think its safe and do not want him alone with him or overnight and I want supervised visitations or me there when he gets him during the day! Is there anything I can do? I want to file sole costudy but unless u get a video its not gna happen because you have to prove unfit and that's almost impossible. So a little advice please some one help!!! I love my baby boy to death and do not feel that he safe in any way alone with his dad. But I'm not trying to keep hm away its his son too.

"Unfit" is not a legal term. Forget about it.

And don't worry about bringing a video into court. Your testimony is good evidence.

Leave the father now, and file a paternity action that asks for (1) a child support order and (2) supervised/restricted visitation for the Dad.
