Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
with holding orders
I have a copy of a ruling from our hearing. the judge broke down the months that i was to receive rears payments however the attorney who wrote the order failed to check with Attorney Generals office to make sure that the amount we were looking at were the same. Since they weren't at the final hearing the opposing attorney wrote the with holding order incorrectly which no would know until the Attorney General got involved to show the mistake especially since i purchased a copy of the ruling. the attorney representing me did such a terrible job on my case. so I can't get her to help me correct this problem period and I am not sure what to do. opposing counsel says that she is not my attorney though she knows the wrong will not make the corrections. again I do not know why that is because I know it wasn't intentional but still needs to be corrected so that I get all that the court granted me. so I am lost at what to do. I have no more money to put into this nor much more time. need to get back to living. so if there is any advice you could give me I would really love to hear someone on what I need to do to finish this up.

Re: with holding orders
Either hire another lawyer to get it corrected, or get the AG office to file a Motion to Clarify.
