Alone and about to be homeless
I was abandoned by my husband
of 16 years. He now decided to
stop paying on the house we
shared for 6 months and move on to
better. I have no place to move to
Is there anyone I can turn to for
help? I am without family here and
want to move to El Paso, Texas..
I want to go home...I am a cleaning lady and can just afford to feed
my dog and cat....
Does Pro Bono exist anymore?

The State Bar Association and perhaps your local county bar association plus other women's groups offer limited assistance for you. While most attorneys do their share of pro bono work, the resources do not match the demand. Many would like to do more, but there are only so many hours in the day. Good Luck
