Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
my husband was arrested for criminal mischief & family violence, in our home, & received 2 years probation after serving several months in county jail. part of his probation included a "no contact order" which was requested by the d.a. for my behalf. i wasn't aware of the magnatitude of that type of order at the time. is it possible to have a "no contact order" removed/over turned before the duration of the probation is completed?
thank you

Based on what you have written and dependent upon which Court you are in, obtain a removal of the no contact order may be difficult. You should speak with a law firm to see what steps are required to have this completed. Yes but based on the limited information provided, it sounds like you needed protection from him. Often women will change their minds later on, many times, that is a bad idea.
I charge $1 a minute to sit down with you and discuss your options.
If I determine that the no contact order was appropriate then I won't help you lift it. Many abused women change their minds later on. I have not had a client killed and I don't intend to ruin my record now.
I've lot a friend and a relative to domestic violence and I treat d.v. very seriously.
