Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband has two children with his ex wife one of them was removed from her custody by CPS and placed with us back in December. She is still getting child support for both even though she has one child and we have the other now. It is very hard for us to pay child support on a child that we are actually supporting. Is there an office in the child support division that can change this for us or do we have to spend alot of money that we don't have on an attorney and go through the courts? We reside in Brazoria County in Texas. Any help would be most appreciated. thanks Tammy

You contact the attorney general's office by going to this webpage:

https://childsupport.oag.state.tx.us/wps/portal/csi

You need to do this right away.

The attorney general can help you, but sometimes they are slow.
