Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My husband does not have custody of his daughter. He pays child support and provides Health insurance. Is he responsible for medical bills. We have never received a bill and she is trying to get us to pay bills as old as 7 years. His document from the state says medical coverage only no scripts vision etc. she wants payment for all this. Can she ask for us to pay and if there is no custody agreement what is customary from the texas attorney general to pay.

This issue is usually addressed in the court order awarding custody and setting child support.
Generally each parent pays half of what is not covered by insurance.
If there is no court order, each parent is responsible for the medical bill of the child. However, there is a 4 year statute of limitations on contracts.
It is not clear to me who "she" is.
