Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband took my daughter from our home

My husband has taken my daughter while I was at work and had me served with divorce papers. He is refusing to let me see her because he is afraid that I will try to take her back. I am a good mother and he knows that I am, but he is using my history of using ADD medication to paint me as a drug abuser in order to gain custody of our daughter. What can I do to gain access to her, and is it legal for him to make me submit to a drug test in order to create reasonable doubt on the judges part when assigning temporary custody orders?

Re: My husband took my daughter from our home

You definitely need a lawyer who will know how to seek temporary orders and present evidence for the Court's consideration of the ADD treatment. The longer you go without a lawyer, the more likely that your husband will prevail.
